Art in Norwich is a joint marketing initiative which is part of the Norwich Visual Art Forum which was originally started by the Norfolk Museums service and Norwich City Council to network the visual art groups in the city.  Physical Editions of Art in Norwich come out twice a year, spring and autumn. It contains listings and info about most of the visual arts activity in and around Norwich and parts of Norfolk for the next six months.

Support for community groups

Norwich City Council  - Community Grants Programme
Tiered grants of £50, £300 and £500 are available to community groups or groups of residents wishing to undertake small projects or activities that support people getting involved in their neighbourhood.


Norwich City Council - Annual Grants Programme
Annual grants are allocated once a year and run from 1 April to 31 March. We award grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in order to help meet its priorities.

Norwich Market pop up stalls
The pop-up stall is one you can rent on a temporary, short-term basis. Norwich Market has one market stall designated as a pop-up. The stall is ideal for a collective or group looking to rent a small stall for a themed event – for example an arts and crafts sale, photography and art sales, homewares or antiques. It is also suitable for small innovative producers who do not require a permanent premises but whose business would benefit from a location to make retail sales on an occasional basis.

Studio 20
A flexible space for hire on Wensum Street. The studio has been used for photography shoots, pop-up shops, exhibitions creative writing workshops, rehearsals and conferences.


Anteros Arts Foundation
The Anteros Arts Foundation is a charity for education and the promotion of the arts in Norfolk that is run by a small and dedicated team. Anyone with connections in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire may apply to exhibit at Anteros.
